QP LDN
The challenge
Quattro Passi was originally established by the 2 starred Michelin Starred Chef, Antonio Mellino. In 2016, the restaurant relaunched as QP LDN, with the promise of bringing the authentic taste of the Amalfi Coast in Italy to the city of London.

We were tasked with designing and developing the brand identity for QP LDN inclusive of all print communications including menus, signage, stationery, cloakroom assets, VIP guest passes, invitations and uniforms. We also designed and delivered online communications, reworking their entire website and creating cohesive digital identity spanning social media, promotions and newsletters.

The most important part of a brand is what you can't see. The things that define its character - the values, the vision, the tone of voice. These are the factors which dictate the visible elements.

We worked closely with the client to define the values of QP LDN to help us deliver a graphic identity representative of the business and its ambition. We highlighted QP’s belief in authenticity, tradition, uniqueness, and the delivery of memorable experience.
How we helped
A long phase of discovery allowed us to define a creative direction which took inspiration from classic Italian glamour as well as the materials, surfaces and textures within the restaurant interior. These included white marble, warm wood, stone and graphically displayed metalwork.
The logotype features the X symbol to reflect the criss-cross metalwork that is prevalent in the restaurant interior. As QP had expressed interest in expansion to new locations, this graphic device also ensured the identity could be easily updated with new city locations.

The newly re-launched QP LDN website is now a proud showcase of what the restaurant has to offer. As well as introducing the visitor to the ethos of QP, the site is a dedicated space to share the stories of the partners and suppliers who work with QP, inspiring and facilitating their seasonal menus. We also commissioned photographer, Craig Jacob, to provide beautiful photography for our digital communications, which capture the premium quality of the food and the ambience of the restaurant.
“The rebrand and refresh has enabled us to not only provide customers with a visually beautiful website, Mòr have also create a site which is easy to use and allows us to embrace social media to market our restaurant to a wider audience”.
